Makino is pleased to announce its upcoming 2017 Die/Mold Technology Expo, a biennial exhibition highlighting new and improved manufacturing processes, techniques, philosophies and strategies vital to transforming businesses for greater success in the global marketplace. The two-day event takes place Sept. 13-14 at Makino’s Die/Mold and EDM Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Mich.
Building on its highly successful PS-Series product line, Makino is excited to announce the next-generation PS65 and PS105 vertical machining centers. Both models feature enhanced design characteristics and next-generation technologies that expand upon the capabilities of their predecessors. With an ideal blend of power, accuracy, speed and reliability, the PS65 and PS105 are redefining the standard for vertical machining center productivity within the aerospace, medical, automotive and general manufacturing industries.
Made in Kentucky, the VC-500A/5X Vertical Machining Center has a trunnion-style rotary/tilt table that allows for the accurate, cost-effective processing of small complex parts via full 5-axis machining. The machine also features the MAZATROL SmoothX CNC that allows for easier programming and faster part cycle times, in either EIA or MAZATROL conversational.
One of the features about a Hurco that many customers love is the 8-nozzle coolant ring that comes standard on all VMX models of vertical machining centers, and the amount and flow of the flood coolant that can be experienced is sometimes unbelievable to many new users. Now Hurco VM owners can experience this same overwhelming feeling of flood coolant!
