FANUC introduces its new R-30iB Plus robot controller at the annual FANUC Open House event on April 10-13 at its headquarters in Japan.
CNC machine tools manufacturer Okuma welcomed 200 international customers from the aerospace industry to their Aerospace Centre of Excellence (ACE) in Paris this February. The open house included live machining of aerospace components using the latest technologies, such as a newly developed swarf milling function for difficult-to-cut materials.
Okuma Europe is pleased with the outcome of their Smart Factory Open House. From October 25 to October 27 the machine tool manufacturer welcomed more than 200 visitors at their European headquarters in Germany to explore the latest solutions in automated CNC machining. The event offered valuable insight into new technologies for unmanned production to allow for more flexible production planning, shortened deliveries, higher efficiency and reduced costs.
Okuma will host an open house in order to provide customers, distributors and media representatives with a first-hand look at the manufacturer’s approach to the fourth industrial revolution. Via a real time simulation of a state-of- the-art smart factory, visitors will gain valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities presented by Industry 4.0 . The one-day event is held on three consecutive days from October 25 to October 27 at Okuma’s European headquarters in Krefeld, Germany.
