Mazak’s versatile VARIAXIS i-300 simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center is now even more flexible and efficient with the addition of a high-capacity Auto Work Changer (AWC). Designed for automated small- to medium-size part-processing operations, the new VARIAXIS i-300 AWC excels in machining aluminum and other nonferrous metals for a wide variety of industries, including aerospace, medical and automotive.
At the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, taking place December 7 – 9 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Mazak demonstrated how its latest machine tools provide the speed, precision and processing flexibility necessary for the prototyping and production of components for racecars, trucks, dirt bikes, dragsters, boats and other high-performance vehicles.
At WMTS 2017, Mazak Canada will demonstrate how the QTN 450M turning center with Multi-Tasking DONE IN ONE® capabilities boosts productivity and reduces cycle times for large-diameter, shaft-type part manufacturing in industries such as oil and gas. The company will also run simulations of its MAZATROL SmoothX CNC, the industry’s fastest most progressive machine tool control, in booth 213 during the show that takes place June 6-8 in Edmonton, Alberta.
At IMTS Chicago in september, many manufacturers, media and others who visited the Mazak booth were very interested in learning more about SMOOTH TECHNOLOGY. Rightfully so because it is unique to the industry and helps keep shops of all sizes productive, efficient, competitive and at the forefront of innovation.
