The new simulation solution is available with the hyperMILL® 2018.1 release.
The tool manufacturer Vandurit has developed an innovative rollFEED® turning method that is matched with an exclusive hyperMILL® CAM strategy from OPEN MIND. Thanks to this collaboration, there is now a new solution for CNC turning that offers maximum process reliability and significantly reduces machining times and tool wear.

The most notable addition to Version 2017.2 is a module that provides quick designing of die-sinking electrodes. Thanks to the module’s convenient and automated process, users can simply base their electrodes on the face to be die-sunk within the component geometry – no specialist expertise is required.
The new 2017.2 Version of the hyperMILL® CAM suite now provides a number of improved machining strategies, such as 3D-optimised roughing and programming aids such as T-slot feature detection. In addition, the CAD software hyperCAD®-S has been given a new module for the production of electrodes for die-sinking.
CAM manufacturer, OPEN MIND Technologies AG, will be presenting the latest edition of its hyperMILL® software solution at the International Paris Air Show. The trade fair, which is taking place in Le Bourget, France, is the largest and most important meeting point for the aerospace industry.
