hyperCAD®-S is an integrated CAD software for hyperMILL® users that is specifically tailored to the requirements of CAM programmers. The most notable addition to Version 2017.2 is a module that provides quick designing of die-sinking electrodes. Thanks to the module’s convenient and automated process, users can simply base their electrodes on the face to be die-sunk within the component geometry – no specialist expertise is required.
The new 2017.2 Version of the hyperMILL® CAM suite now provides a number of improved machining strategies, such as 3D-optimised roughing and programming aids such as T-slot feature detection. In addition, the CAD software hyperCAD®-S has been given a new module for the production of electrodes for die-sinking.
CAM manufacturer, OPEN MIND Technologies AG, will be presenting the latest edition of its hyperMILL® software solution at the International Paris Air Show. The trade fair, which is taking place in Le Bourget, France, is the largest and most important meeting point for the aerospace industry. On Stand G77 in Hall 4, OPEN MIND will demonstrate innovative CAM technologies that allow companies to make their manufacturing processes more efficient and reduce machining times by up to 90 percent.
OPEN MIND will demonstrate hyperMILL® 2017.1 at SOLIDWORKS World from February 5 to 8 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. SOLIDWORKS World is the annual gathering of the SOLIDWORKS community to learn and share experiences. OPEN MIND is a Gold partner for its integrated hyperMILL® CAM software, meeting the requirements of integration, user interface and seamless data access.
hyperMILL®, the CAM/CAD solution from OPEN MIND Technologies AG has now been certified by Autodesk Inc. This means that an integrated and fully autonomous workflow is ensured when converting files from Inventor 2017 software to hyperMILL®.This makes transition from Inventor through the hyperMILL® CAM system and on to the CNC machine tool completely seamless.
BMW AG has introduced OPEN MIND Technologies AG, developer of the CAM system hyperMILL®, as one of its CAD/CAM software suppliers. Following multi-phase benchmark tests, the modular hyperMILL® complete CAM solution won over the IT department at the BMW Group and the experts in tool engineering, prototyping and series production.
the developer of CAM/CAD software and postprocessors will be offering a sneak peek at the upcoming release of version 2016.1 of its hyperMILL® CAM solution. A particular highlight of the new version is the finishing strategy from the new hyperMILL® MAXX Machining performance package. ‘Tangent plane machining’ makes it possible to achieve machining time savings of up to 90 per cent. Extended functions for 3D and 5axis machining tasks, new cycles for mill-turning and numerous innovations in hyperCAD®-S round out the range of functions available in the new version.
