Long a hidden champion among German SMEs – now an internationally respected trend-setter in smart production: As the winner of the Hermes Award, with live applications for human/robot collaboration, and with intelligent tools for the smart factory, SCHUNK, the competence leader for gripping systems and clamping technology was a crowd-puller at Hannover Messe 2017.
For several years, SAP has worked alongside partners from industry to create the open integrated factory – a functioning model representing tomorrow’s manufacturing, which enables batch-of-one production and new business models. The IT giants have further expanded and improved their exhibit for HANNOVER MESSE 2017.
The key topic of the Hannover Messe 2017 trade fair, “Integrated Industries, Creating Value”, is concerned with competitive advantage through digitalisation, new business models and added value through intelligent technology, and the networking of humans and machines. Prior to the fair, Festo is introducing the breakthrough innovation “Festo Motion Terminal” along with fascinating future-oriented technologies as part of its Bionic and Future Concepts.
