At EuroBLECH 2016 (October 25 to 29), FANUC exhibited its new seven-axis R-1000iA/120F-7B robot for the first time in Europe. This robot was developed on the basis of the R-1000iA series model. Due to its kinematics with an additional axis in the second arm, the seven-axis is ideally suited for use in very narrow work space.
Simufact presented new versions of their established product lines for forming, welding and now also for additive simulation processes. Simufact launched the product novelties at this year’s EuroBLECH in Hanover. Besides the releases of the known product versions Simufact Forming for forming simulation and Simufact Welding for welding simulation, they also announced the launch of Simufact Additive, a groundbreaking new software solution for the simulation of metal additive manufacturing processes.
We can’t see into a press, if we could it would avoid so many unplanned downtimes, if, for example, a faulty part could be identified sooner. However, the Machine Monitoring System (MMS) of the future, which Schuler presented a model of at the EuroBLECH trade fair, provides completely new insights into presses: With the aid of comprehensive system monitoring, availability can be increased, production and parts quality can be improved, and energy consumption can be lowered. The MMS is part of the Smart Press Shop, a collection of Schuler solutions for networking in the field of forming technology.
Trend for digitisation boosts economic outlook for the sheet metal working industry. The 24th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, EuroBLECH 2016, ended after five successful show days. A total of 60,636 visitors from some 100 different countries traveled to Hanover to get an overview of the latest technical developments in sheet metal processing and invest in new production equipment. A total of 1,503 companies from 41 countries exhibited at this year’s show.
With TruConnect, at the Euroblech 2016, TRUMPF is showcasing innovative solutions on the way to Industry 4.0 in the field of sheet metal processing. The concept for networked production links machines, people and information – for example, via the new data output interface Central Link. At the TRUMPF booth, TruConnect is omnipresent: the machines are equipped with smart features, and consulting and software offerings are a recurrent theme throughout.
EuroBLECH 2016, the 24th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, has opened its doors at the Hanover Exhibition Centre in Germany. Until Saturday, the 29th October 2016, a total of 1,503 exhibitors from 41 countries will present the latest technologies along the entire sheet metal processing chain. For the first time since 2008, this year’s EuroBLECH has reached and even slightly surpassed its record floor size of some 88,000 square metres net.
