From 07 to 09 November Okuma Europe welcomed over 200 visitors to its recently-established Aerospace Centre of Excellence in Germany. In keeping with the location, the manufacturer presented the innovations introduced at EMO with a particular focus on aerospace machining. Highlights included Okuma’s award-winning LASER EX series of super multitasking machines, the smart factory solution Connect Plan as well as the manufacturer’s latest automation technologies.
This year, visitors to EMO will have access to a whole separate area devoted to additive manufacturing techniques. Here, TRUMPF will be showcasing its expertise in Laser Metal Fusion (LMF) and Laser Metal Deposition (LMD). The company will be placing its focus not only on machine solutions, but also on informing visitors about the possibilities afforded by additive technologies.
In addition to introducing a number of new high performance cutting tools at EMO, M.A. Ford Europe is demonstrating a range of machining process improvement technologies as part of its integrated manufacturing solutions (IMS) drive to help improve customer productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
As a system supplier for OEM customers and in the context of the 2015 European machine tool trade showed EMO in Milan MAG again unveils several development highlights under the motto: “come and see tradition of innovations” and presents the performance of these products and technologies for efficient assembly.
