With its strong INDEX and TRAUB brands, the INDEX Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of CNC turning machines, automatic lathes, multi-spindle lathes and turn-mill centers. At EMO 2017 trade fair, the company will showcase several new machines and digitalization solutions.
Following a four-year break, the world’s premier trade fair for the metalworking sector will once again be opening its doors in Hanover from 18 to 23 September 2017, attracting thousands of visitors from the trade. The WNT stand (Hall 5/B70) is sure to be extremely busy again this year, when the Kempten machining specialist will, at long last, be pre-senting its latest, highly innovative tool solutions. WNT has already announced a couple of the product highlights:
Machine tools for efficient and precise 5-axis machining, system solutions for automation and digital options for production optimization are the focus of CHIRON’s trade fair presence in 2017. In hall 12, stand C04, the company will be exhibiting as CHIRON Group together with STAMA, SCHERER Feinbau and the retrofit specialist CMS.
The whole world is talking about 3D printing, additive manufacturing and generative multi-layer construction technologies. Nevertheless, this is a long way from meaning that the classical machine tool is going to be pensioned off. The EMO Hannover 2017 will be showcasing an international banquet of production technology – with alternative processes as the highly auspicious icing on the cake.
Electromobility and Industry 4.0 – these industrial megatrends are featured prominently in the EMAG Group booth at the EMO in Hanover from September 18 to 23 this year. Throughout the show, EMAG machine manufacturers will demonstrate their role as “facilitators” of technological change. For example, they have complete solutions available for the efficient production of central components of electric drive systems. Exhibition visitors will see several high-performance machines in operation – including world-firsts in the areas of turning operation, laser welding/joining and gear cutting. At the same time, the EMAG Group is also accelerating the digitalization of its production technology to establish intelligent factories. Therefore, the EMO will have a dedicated area where customers can test essential Industry 4.0 solutions. A main focus is the consistent usability of the software, which will continue to simplify the control, monitoring and analysis of production.
