At the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, taking place December 7 – 9 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Mazak demonstrated how its latest machine tools provide the speed, precision and processing flexibility necessary for the prototyping and production of components for racecars, trucks, dirt bikes, dragsters, boats and other high-performance vehicles.

Representing different product lines, these models will showcase the various levels of manufacturing technology Mazak offers the racing industry, from basic turning machines to advanced multi-tasking solutions.
The QUICK TURN 200 brings together advanced technology, productivity and value to deliver exceptional speed, performance and precision to shops of all sizes. With a standard through-hole chuck package, this 2-axis machine efficiently processes a wide range of part sizes. At the PRI event, Mazak paired the QUICK TURN 200 with automation to demonstrate how unmanned operation can help shops improve throughput and profits.
Ideal for shops that want affordable full 5-axis machining capability, the VC-500A/5X Vertical Machining Center efficiently processes complex parts up to 19.68″ in diameter and 12″ high. PRI attendees also experienced how the machine’s trunnion-style rotary/tilt table and MAZATROL SmoothX CNC allow for the cost-effective production of shifter knobs.
