The new control software Datron Next is intended to guide both beginners and experienced machine operators through the milling program in a few steps.
The new control system Datron Next, which celebrated its official world premiere last September together with the Datron Neo three-axis milling machine, will also be available for the company’s established machine systems in time for the EMO Hannover 2017.
The user interface of the software is said to enable even inexperienced machinists to easily control the CNC milling machine. But experienced machine operators, too, can reportedly benefit from the camera-assisted workpiece assembly and the new tool management. As the German developers explain, assistant functionalities and an integrated camera help the user successfully start the milling process in just a few steps.
Self-explanatory icons and realistic 3D illustrations of tools and components facilitate the quick identification of the various functions. With the interplay of user-friendliness and high design quality, the exhibitors claim to be setting new standards in the machine tool sector with their new software.
