Open Mind will be introducing their NC-code-based machine simulation Hyper-Mill Virtual Machining Center. Live machining with the innovative strategies of the Hyper-Mill Maxx machining performance package will be presented. As the exhibitors explain, milling tasks are becoming more diverse with powerful five-axis machining centers and safe machine simulation is more important than ever. The company has developed a solution that uses the NC code after the post-processing run as a simulation basis. In this way, the virtual machine movements are exactly the same as the real ones. The performance package is said to provide a true efficiency boost with its three modules for roughing, finishing and drilling. Manufacturing companies can reportedly achieve time savings of up to 90 percent for finishing and up to 75 percent for roughing.
