Sorma announces the introduction at EMO 2015 of a broad range of new Nikko Tools solutions for milling including solutions based on bilateral inserts and one for High Feed Milling. These new solutions will enable customers to combine enhanced productivity to high performance. Advanced production processes and a careful selection of raw materials together with the design of new specific cutting geometries allow – even on the solution based on bilateral inserts – the significant reduction of cutting torque, comparable to what usually developed by milling systems based on positive inserts.
The new Nikko milling systems include:
Double4Face: a 45° face milling system, mounting inserts with 4 cutting edges per side
DoubleHex: a new series of solutions specifically designed for 60° face milling of Cast Iron, based on inserts with 6 cutting edges per side;
Double3gon: 90° shouldering sys6tem mounting trigonal inserts with 3 cutting edges per side.
Moreover, another additional significant introduction in the Nikko Tools Milling program, will be represented by the new HF4Plus, a High Feed Milling system allowing a dramatic reduction of machining time and a significant reduction of on both tools and machine stress.
“Starting from the launch of Nikko Tools range – says Giancarlo Galluzzi, CEO of Sorma, the owner of Nikko Tools brand – we have always been focusing on the development of solutions able to help our customers throughout Europe to increase their productivity, both in terms of greater efficiency of their machining processes and better quality of production. With the new milling systems introduced at EMO 2015 we are sure that we have taken another step toward the right direction”
Founded in 2006, Nikko Tools represents for the Italian company Sorma a strategic brand which is able today to offer a broad range of high performance indexable inserts tools and to meet in this way to the multiple needs of the mechanic industry.
