SCHUNK is heading towards the final sprint of 2014 with three leading shows. After a superb growth rate in the first six months of the year, a consistently strong demand for clamping technology and gripping systems is to be expected for the rest of the year.
The first of the show triple will be the IMTS in Chicago. This show has been an inherent part of the SCHUNK Intec USA show calendar since the company’s foundation in 1992. The largest American show for manufacturing technology is followed by two home matches in Stuttgart of international proportion.
At the AMB show, SCHUNK dominates on two levels: One with new clamping technology products for automated machine tools and with the presence of brand ambassador Jens Lehmann. You will meet the No. 1 goalkeeper on September 18, 2014 in person at the “Meet and Greet,” and the photo shoot on our show booth. The technical focus at the AMB is on the TENDO E compact universal hydraulic expansion toolholder, which will be shown live in action with its full performance potential. The all-rounder for milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping makes up to 300% longer tool life possible. This result has been proven by a study of the wbk Institute for Production Technology at the Institute for Technology in Karlsruhe (KIT). A new member of the TENDO family is the TENDO Aviation with an integrated anti pull-out safety mechanism for standard Weldon shanks. This toolholder and numerous further innovations and highlights ensure a higher productivity, reliability, and flexibility.
14 days later, the SCHUNK gripping systems take over the lead at the Motek show with the motto “Gripping Meets Robotics.” Experience here the SCHUNK Synergy live with the perfect interplay of gripping systems and clamping technology, and numerous end-of-arm solutions. Professional visitors can look forward to the premiere of more than 20 new products.Source SCHUNK GmbH
