Parts2clean 2014 (24 to 26 June)

  • parts2cleanlogo12th parts2clean to feature 269 exhibitors from 14 nations
  • Full range of solutions and the latest innovations in industrial cleaning under one roof

Stuttgart/Hannover. Eight months ago, the11th parts2clean show featured a record exhibitor turnout, and the 12th season is shaping up to be another winning event. The parts2clean international trade fair for industrial-parts and surface cleaning will be held from 24 to 26 June this year at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center in southern Germany and will feature some 269 exhibitors (as compared with 264 in 2013). The exhibitors will come from 14 nations, taking the non-German segment of the overall exhibitor mix to 19.7 percent. The biggest exhibiting nations apart from Germany are Italy, Switzerland and Austria. parts2clean 2014 will occupy 6,558 square meters of net exhibition space, an increase of close to four percent. The fair’s organizer, Deutsche Messe, is right to be proud of these figures. Its director in charge of parts2clean, Olaf Daebler, explains: “It’s pleasing to see that so many companies have decided to participate at this year’s parts2clean, given that the last parts2clean was held only eight months ago. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for the companies to prepare their showcases. It just goes to show what an important role parts2clean plays as an international information-sharing and procurement platform for the industrial parts cleaning industry.”

Multi-sector, cross-material offering rich in innovations

parts2clean exhibits a wide array of products, processes and solutions that have been developed to meet the increasingly stringent parts-cleanliness and process-efficiency requirements of a broad range of industries and material types. The exhibition program includes everything, from deburring, degreasing and cleaning systems, to cleaning-bath maintenance products, automation, cleanliness-monitoring and corrosion-protection systems, right through to solutions for handling and packaging cleaned workpieces. All sections of the fair will feature the latest developments and product refinements. For instance, the displays of cleaning systems for aqueous media and solvents and the exhibitions of special processes will center around modular plant systems that can be tailored to a range of cleaning tasks and which deliver high throughput rates and operational energy efficiency. Innovation will also abound in the displays of cleaning media, deburring systems, cleaning tanks and systems for monitoring and treating cleaning media. There will like wise be a good selection of new solutions for the removal and prevention of film and particulate contamination.

Guided Tours: direct route to optimal solutions

Among the exciting new developments at this year’s parts2clean show are the Guided Tours for visitors. Organized jointly by the German Professional Association for Industrial Parts Cleaning (FiT) and the German Cleaning Excellence Center (CEC), the program comprises two tours, each of which will be offered on all three days of parts2clean. Tour 1 is themed “Dissolving and cleaning contamination,” and Tour 2 is themed “Measuring and avoiding particles.” The tours will guide participating visitors to the display stands of 30 exhibitors, each of whom will present their products in a brief, five-minute pitch. In this way, the visitors will be fast-tracked to the solutions that are most relevant to their particular requirements.

Visitor magnet: bilingual Expert Forum

The three-day Expert Forum is a regular feature of the parts2clean lineup. It’s also an internationally respected source of expertise and knowledge on the cleaning solutions for industrial parts and surfaces. And comprising no fewer than 29 simultaneously interpreted (English <> German) presentations, it’s also one of the big drawcards at this year’s show. The forum is organized by the Fraunhofer Cleaning Technology Alliance. Participation is free of charge to registered parts2clean visitors.

parts2clean will be held from 24 to 26 June at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center, Germany. Running alongside the fair – that is, at the same time and venue – will be O&S, the international trade fair for surface treatments and coating, the LASYS international trade fair for system solutions in laser material processing, and the AUTOMOTIVE Expo. The parts2clean and O&S fairs are open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all three days.
